Sample procedure: Weekly belt conveyor inspection

  1. Walk full length, listen for bearing noise and belt slap.
  2. Check belt tracking at head and tail.
  3. Look for frayed edges, splice damage, material buildup on pulleys.
  4. Confirm E-stops and pull cords reset correctly.
  5. Check guards in place.
  6. Log findings.

Parts: Rags, degreaser. Safety: Do not touch moving belt; guards stay on for running inspection.
