Sample procedure: Quarterly dock door inspection

  1. LOTO the door operator.
  2. Disconnect operator and balance door by hand; door should hold at mid-height.
  3. Inspect springs for gaps or rust, cables for fraying.
  4. Check rollers, hinges, tracks; lubricate.
  5. Inspect bottom seal and weather seals.
  6. Reconnect, test photo-eye and safety edge reversal.
  7. Check operator limit settings.

Parts: Door lube, bottom seal, rollers. Safety: Springs under high tension: adjust only with proper bars and training; LOTO operator.
