- Lock out the dock position (barrier or sign).
- Cycle leveler full range, listen for pump noise.
- Inspect lip hinge pins and lip keepers.
- Check hydraulic hoses and cylinder for leaks.
- Inspect toe guards and side skirts.
- Check deck plate for cracks at hinge.
- Grease hinge points.
- Sweep pit.
Parts: Grease, hydraulic oil. Safety: Never enter pit without maintenance strut engaged; dock position locked out.
